Pharm-Olam Czech Republic

Pharm-Olam has conducted clinical trials in Czech Republic since 1997 and we have an office in the capital city of Prague. Our studies in Czech Republic have supported successful US NDA approval in angina, migraine, Crohn's Disease, post-surgical pain, and gram positive infections. Our Prague office supports regional staff in Slovakia.

90% of all clinical trials conducted in the Czech Republic are multicentric, multinational clinical trials, only 10 % fall under national academic research and are conducted in one or more centres. Approximately 80% of all clinical trials are commercial trials. Their sponsors are mainly pharmaceutical companies, only 20% are either academic or professional societies, academic institutions or healthcare facilities from both the Czech Republic and other European countries.
