Urinary Retention (Rescue)
Pharm-Olam was asked to assist with recruitment in this trial (managed by another CRO) as enrollment was slower than predicted. Initially, the sponsor's request was for 100 patients over a period of 5 months. Pharm-Olam quickly set up 8 sites in Eastern Europe and achieved the target a few weeks ahead of schedule.

Impressed by our performance, the sponsor extended their patient target 4 times to Pharm-Olam during the study. In the end, Pharm-Olam recruited 477 patients and stayed ahead of the target throughout the study's duration.

The sponsor made the right choice selecting Pharm-Olam for accelerated recruitment, because their drug later received NDA approval — giving them a time advantage over their competitors.
